But last year I was a roaster in Cluj-Napoca, RO. I got a good feel for the industry in Eastern Europe, but not much beyond. I feel that it's important to know about other areas outside of your own coffee region (american baristas) and I owe much of my roast knowledge to the guys in Romania.
