There are too many variables in a question like this for anyone to be able to respond with a straight answer. I believe that the GS3 is probably the best 1G on the market, but not many people can spend $7500 on a single group machine.

Depends on what features you decide are "necessary."

I agree, way too many variables to just throw out an answer. Home or commercial is a good place to start.

Hard question to answer. It definitely depends on what you want to use it for. For a small volume coffee house, the GS3 would be a dream. If it was for like a cafe that maybe made espresso every so often, you might look at the Andrea Premium. But again, it all depends on what your setting or volume expectations are. Good luck!

Have you taken a look at the LaSpaziale S1, or the Vavaldi single? You might also want to take a look at the NEW Rancilio Lever units, all manual operation, way cool. We have a single in our show room (we have also sold 3 2 groups in a single month recently) and it is a dream to work on! Good luck.

Perhaps a better question for you to ask is this one: "Is the Clover dramatically better than other, more reasonably priced, brew devices if they are used properly?" I think not, FWIW. I also think the GB5 comparison is a good one. I would only...

I'm with Bill here. Replace the whole thing (including the copper washer) - $20 and 15 minutes worth of work, tops. Wish I'd seen this earlier, I'd have asked the Dripolator guys to take one back with them today. I do have one on hand, let me know...

all nice stuff, but do you think a CBS 2031 is enough? We started with CBS 2032 and will be moving to a CBS 2052e as soon as I can get some wire pulled. Most of the time the 2032 is enough for our demand but when we have a couple of caterings on a...
