When I was growing up, there was this thing called "The Central Coast." Now it is just a memory. In Mafia terms, the division was traditionally Bakersfield. But SoCal spreads like a virus, and the line seems to constantly push north. Interestingly enough, I have never seen so many NorCal stickers in Redding or Sacto as in San Luis Obispo!

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I'm just getting tired of having the same old chai...I'd like to have something a little more unique. Although the the DIY chai sounds amazing, I'm not sure we could handle going through all that work...it would be more...

I do see where the last sentence seems to be asking what day-to-day practices you exercise when serving customers; but the entire preceding body implies personal preference. Personally, I like to make mine as hot as I can get it —pulled into a pre...

Inigo, if you ever do decide to get an I-Roast2, I sell them here at the shop and could ship one to you. Runs on 110 Volts. As Teresa said it is a great way to learn and get better at the basics. It was my first roaster as well. Joe

I have been reading online about the outbreak of the broca bug in Colombia this year from all the excess of rain. I know they are predicting a major shortage in the new crops coming in, and I read somewhere that certain regions had it as bad as 38...
