Tried a Founders Backwoods Bastard last night. It was fun: kind of like drinking malty whiskey. Split it with a friend. Not sure if I'd love a whole bottle.
Currently in love with everything I've tried from Pretty Things. If you get a chance, check 'em out!

Some not so recent tries of mine...
-Lagunitas IPA- Forget 90 minute... this is probably the best IPA in America.
-Bell's Rye Stout- meh...
-Bell's Christmas Ale- below meh... bordering on not good. Think ginger cotton candy beer, but not sweet like cotton candy and bordering on not seeming carbonated... very weird.
-Darkhorse Scotty Karate- I know I posted this on the 'What's in your fridge' discussion, but it seems WAY different on tap than in the bottle. Heavy smoked cedar. I dig it, but it's 50/50 with our customers.

Now your talking my language. I live in the off flow of Walking man brew pub in Stevenson Washington. http://www.walkingmanbrewing.com/
My customers have said to me they were trying to enjoy a new brew on tap while sitting at a table out side the pub but a strange coffee aroma waifed by there nose as they sipped their beer. That was me roasting a couple blocks away. I love there craft brews, especially their IPA gold medal winner, "HomoErectis"

i use 208 degree water from the zojirushi (like i'd use for the drip coffee) and pull the shot straight into it. not sure why you'd want water from the machine to cool down, since it's the exact same temp as your espresso?
How do you make your Americano? Hot water added to your espresso pull...espresso pulled over a cup of hot water? Espresso poured into a cup of hot water?
For me, I like to add hot water from my machine (LaSpazial Vivaldi II) into a non-heated cer...
