Cup Lid Applicator

Has anyone seen the plastic coffee cup lid applicator that McD's uses in their McCafe?
It looks like a "top hat" and applies even pressure around the rim of the lid - perfect every time.
I can't find anywhere to buy this, and am hoping someone in the group can point me in the right direction.

Just because you would not use the top hat why do you have to make fun of someone who does. I would not use it either but i am not so shallow as to think i am right all the time. I do not know the answer to the question he asked and i guess you don't either. But my mother taught me if i can't say something nice don't say anything at all.

I like the idea and see no downside for most shops. I do however often buy coffee from shops that practice coffee art and its a shame to cover the art with a lid.

Honestly, though? If you want to avoid things that fingers had touched... well, all I can say is good luck with that.

An item in day one training when I started was the proper way to handle and install a lid. If you do it correctly you never touch the part where the customer drinks. If you are unable to master this little maneuver, I question how it is possible to do more complicated things, like make an espresso, steam milk, tie your shoe, etc.
