I put this under classifieds last week but Im not sure if it would completely be considered classifieds since its really a group buy. Just in case I wanted to throw it up here under the retail shops group.
Hey guys. I'm working on picking up a few espresso machines from Astra and anytime I buy multiples they always give me a great price. If anyone is in need of a new machine let me know and I'll try to get a group buy going. It doesn't have to just be the gourmet machines, I can get the same discount on any of astras line. Www.astramfr.com should be their webpage. I've owned a couple ps the gourmet machines and they work great and I've sold a few to other coffee shops and everone has loved them. If anyone is interested email me or give me a call. By the way this account has no real activity since a few months ago someone broke into my account and changed my email address and password so I couldn't login and the powers that be (not Matt but the group that hosts the social sight) don't have a way to fix it so I just had to open a new account. My old account I think is still up under Bella Caffe with plenty of activity. I do a full mobile coffee shop all over the southeast and Midwest as well as occasionally help shops get setup and pick up equipment for people. Usually I just do this kind of stuff where I facilitate a group buy and negotiate a better price by buying multiple machines at once so we all get a better price instead of individually buying ourselves. If anyones intersted let me know.
Oh yeah. I think I'll be able to get these machines for a little better than 25% off. Such as the gourmet semi auto lists for 3140 and I think I'll be able to get them for about 2300 plus shipping maybe even better if I can get a few others on it
Alright, I think I can pull off 30% now. And thats anything that Astra makes (Gourmet, Mega I, II, III, super autos, etc). I've got 1 person on board, and 1 other person that Im waiting on a final answer & then my machine. If anyone else is interested, let me know.
Alright, it looks like this deal will probably go through, I've got someone looking at picking up 3 machines meaning I'll def. be able to get this price. Also if anyone is worried about spending the money and not knowing who I am, you can call Richard at Astra and check on me. He knows me & he knows Im working up a deal. So if anyones interested, I should be able to get about 30% off anything from Astra now.
Mark your calendars! The 2010 USBC will be held at the 22nd annual SCAA Exposition in Anaheim California April 15-18. The USBC is free and open to the public, if you would like to register for the show or classes, visit www.scaaexposition.org
I would actually point you towards Ost for a purveyor of Intelly. Third Rail does a good job, but Ost has a good amount of seating and some good meat/cheese options going on.
If you're interested in anything in Brooklyn let me know, there is a font…
try a latte with twice the amount of vanilla as cinnamon (2 pumps vanilla, 1 pump cinnamon for a 12oz) - you can still clearly taste the cinnamon although not overbearing.
Karl,
Is Synesso, in there comment, trying to say that maintenance and up keep can be handled by a local technician?
The fact that KVDW is only 72 miles away is a huge consideration in some respects.
